The best position might need a pillow!

The best position might need a pillow!

Can I let you in on a little intimacy secret?

Sometimes better intimacy doesn't require a new position, more flexibility, or bending yourself into a human pretzel.

Sometimes you just need to change the angle.

If you and your partner have a noticeable height difference, different body proportions, limited mobility, or simply don't line up comfortably in certain positions, you've probably experienced the awkward shuffle:

Scoot a little.
Lift a hip.
Move a pillow.
Try again.
Repeat.

And suddenly you're thinking more about alignment than connection.

Here's the important part:

There is nothing wrong with either of your bodies.

Bodies aren't designed with one universal “perfect fit.” Differences in height, hip structure, flexibility, mobility, and body shape can all affect how comfortable a position feels.

That's where positioning support can help.

Think about it like this:

You use a pillow to support your neck while you sleep. You use an ergonomic chair to support your body while you work.

So why wouldn't you use support during intimacy?

A wedge, ramp, or positioning pillow can help change the angle of your body, provide support, and reduce the amount of effort it takes to maintain a comfortable position.

And sometimes a small change in elevation or angle can make a surprisingly big difference.

A few things to remember:

✔️ Comfort comes first.
You don't need to force your body into a position just because it looks good in theory. If you're uncomfortable, your body has a harder time relaxing and staying present.

✔️ Support isn't cheating.
A positioning aid isn't a sign that your bodies aren't compatible. It's simply a tool that can help your bodies work together more comfortably.

✔️ Small adjustments matter.
You don't always need a completely different position. Changing the angle, elevation, or amount of support can sometimes make the position you're already enjoying feel much better.

✔️ Less strain can mean more connection.
When you're not constantly shifting, holding yourself up, or worrying about discomfort, it's easier to focus on your partner and the experience you're sharing.

✔️ Your bodies get to have different needs.
What feels comfortable for one couple may not work for another. That's normal. Intimacy isn't a one-size-fits-all activity.

The goal isn't finding the perfect position.

It's finding what feels comfortable, supportive, and enjoyable for both of you.

Because sometimes the difference between “Why isn't this working?” and “Ohhh… THAT'S better.” is literally a few inches of support.

You don't necessarily need more flexibility.

You might just need the right tool for the angle.
